Whether you are a new or long standing member it would be great if you could join us on Feb 4th at Ruskin House, for what should be an interesting day of policy discussion and debate, where we want to ensure the views of Party members are heard & inform Labour's policies going forward.
As a Labour we are Council already implementing much of our 2014 manifesto, with policies such as increasing affordable housing, paying the London Living Wage, licensing private landlords and improving Street cleaning and safety making a real difference to people's lives.

10:00 - Challenging Austerity and the Cuts - Speakers include Tony Newman, Leader of Croydon Council, Andrew Fisher, Senior Policy advisor to the Leader's Office and Louisa Woodley, Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care for Croydon Council.
11:00 - Improving Council Services - Break out session on all areas of Local Government Services. Groups will be facilitated by community campaigners such a Cllr Jamie Audsley and others.

13:00 - Tackling the Housing Crisis - Speakers include Sam Stopp, Chair of the Labour Campaign to End Homelessness (TBC), Liz Davies, co-author of Housing Allocation and Homelessness: Law and Practice and Alison Butler, Cabinet Member for Homes, Regeneration and Planning at Croydon Council.
14:00 - Building the Winning Campaign - led by Jack Buck, Campaigns and Communications officer for Croydon Labour Group.
14:30 - Ideas for our Manifesto - A group session bringing together everything discussed that day where we discuss priorities for the 2018 local government manifesto.
